It’s crunch time for Nigel Crellin and Chris Molyneux in their bid to win the British Sidecar Trials Championship title for a third year in succession.

The Manx pair currently trail Bristol’s Jon Tuck and Matt Sparkes by a solitary point, but with the worst two scores to drop it is still a case of winner takes all (or whoever finishes highest on Sunday).

The Ray Thomas Trial is being organised by Normandy MCC at Dunsfold in Surrey.

The intermediate class has already been decided in William Caine and Beth Thomas’s favour, with the clubman class going to Damian Owen/Gaz Temple and the newcomers’ to Matt Bond and Aleyn Taggart.

If Crellin and Molyneux can pull it off, it would produce a Manx clean sweep for the second year in succession.
