Entries for Manx Motor Racing Club’s Manx Classic at the end of April are almost full.
In excess of 70 entries have been received, out of the 90 maximum allowed for the event.
To date, 20 pre-Second World War cars have been entered, ranging from a 1921 Bugatti T3 Brescia to a record-breaking 1926 Amilcar G-type Montlhéry.
Also of note among the diverse entry list is an extremely rare Supercharged 1939 MG TB.
There are classes for modern and kit cars as well as the usual V8s from the 1960s and 70s including two Triumph TR V8s.
The Manx Classic involves three different events over three days on the fabled Mountain TT Course between April 30 and May 2.
Following the cancellation of the Chateau Impney event this year, and before that the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, the Manx Classic continues in its unique tradition.
