Entries close for September 1’s Microgaming Isle of Man Triathlon Championships at midnight this Sunday, August 25.

The event will be held at Mooragh Park in Ramsey. The lake is shallow and so is a great introduction to open-water triathlon events.

There are sprint and standard distance races for both individuals and teams.

The sprint event includes a 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run.

The standard distances are 1,500m swim/40km cycle and 10km run.

The cycle course goes out the coast road, through Bride, back through Andreas and then returns to Ramsey.

The run is in and around Mooragh Park.
