RYCOB put the cat among the pigeons in the JCK Division Two title race on Wednesday evening.

Youthie beat league leaders Douglas Royal 3-1 thanks to goals from Lewis Moran, Dominic Parish and Chris Robinson to dent already promoted Royal’s hopes of the division’s silverware.

Royal are now 10 points clear of rivals Braddan, who overcame Pulrose United 5-2, with only one game left to play against their title rivals. Aside from that game the Swans have another five matches left and know if they win all them they will be champions.

Andy Glover continued his stroll to the Silver Boot title with another two goals for the Victoria Road side in their win against his former club.

Joining Glover on the scoresheet for the GH Corlett Woods Cup victors were Chris Craine, Stuart Pacey and Ben O'Neill.

Dale Walker grabbed both goals for Pully.

Foxdale took a big step toward securing a place in the Paul Henry Gold Cup with a massive 11-0 win over Governor's Athletic.

Aaron Costain grabbed five goals in the rout, with Jay Chatwood (2), Liam Cannan (2), Scott Kermeen and Kev Pulman also on target.

In the evening's sole match in the Canada Life Premier League, St John's edged past Douglas Athletic 2-1.

Alex Holden and Dan Corkill scored for the hosts, Danny Pennington netting for the Pinks.
