The Bowl Stadium will reopen for use tomorrow, Friday, having been shut for a couple of weeks because of structural damage.
The sporting facility was closed on December 19 after damage was discovered to its white canopy making it not safe for spectators.
A statement announcing the re-opening said: 'Safety work has now been completed by engineers to ensure that the affected area is safe and can be reopened to the public. All bookings are due to resume as planned from tomorrow.’The canopy has now been removed and the area surrounding the effected columns has been fenced off.A separate email to users of the pitch added:'Hirers must not enter any restricted areas. During your session if a football or any equipment goes into the area which is fenced off, please inform a staff member from the Bowl or outdoor team who will arrange for the ball to be retrieved and returned to you as soon as possible.’
