Colby Football Club marked their belated centenary celebrations with the launch of a new book entitled Carry On Colby II...Not Always Black & White.

The story of Colby AFC 1920-2021 is compiled by Eric Clague, Paul Hatton and Dicky Gale and is an extended, updated version of the original publication released in 1974.

Like the first, the A4 book is full of interesting pictures and information, covering the history of the club up until the present.

Members and guests were in attendance at the Station Fields clubhouse recently when life member Ken Skinner gave a quick speech before a number of booklets were presented by the club president Roy Dixon, including to Tony and Rachel Charker of Colby’s main sponsor, Building Maintenance Solutions (BMS).

Afterwards, the attendees enjoyed a buffet and danced the night away to a disco.

The booklet is available at the Bridge Book Shop, Port Erin and their Ramsey branch or from Ken Skinner (496308).
