St Mary’s defender Karl Clark and Foxdale goalkeeper Stuart Fayle picked up their Friends Provident International FA Cup Player of the Round awards this week.
Clark won his accolade for his performance in the competition’s preliminary round, while Fayle was picked out after starring in the recent raft of first round proper ties.
Centre-back Clark was in imperious form as the Bowl outfit edged past St John’s 3-2 in a five-goal, extra-time thriller.
Man mountain Fayle was Man of the Match as Division Two Foxdale caused the shock of the competition’s next round as they knocked out top-flight Colby 3-2 at Billygoat Park.
Dale will face fellow second-tier side Douglas and District in the quarter-finals, which are scheduled to be played next Saturday afternoon.
