FC Isle of Man scored two late goals to beat an Isle of Man FA XI 4-2 at the Bowl on a wet and chilly Wednesday evening.

The latter side took an eighth-minute lead when Corinthians’ Sean Doyle poked home before Chris Bass Jr’s spectacular long-range leveller sent the two sides into the break all square.

St George’s striker Ciaran McNulty put the FA side back in front midway through the second half. FC Isle of Man once again hit back though when Stephen Whitley scored his first of the evening.

Two goals in as many minutes then decided the friendly match, which was in aid of Craig’s Heartstrong Foundation, in the Ravens’ favour. Youngster Nathan Cardy made it 3-2, before Whitley’s second of the evening made it 4-2 with nine minutes left on referee James Turpin’s watch.
