FC Isle of Man have been drawn to face AFC Liverpool in the FA Vase first qualifying round.
The newly-formed Ravens played their first match last weekend with a 1-0 friendly win over Guernsey FC at the Bowl - see this week’s Isle of Man Examiner for extensive coverage and photographs.
The draw for the Buildbase-sponsored FA Vase took place on Tuesday afternoon, with the preliminary rounds currently scheduled to get underway on September 1.
After the extra preliminary and preliminary rounds take place, FC Isle of Man will take on AFC Liverpool at the Bowl on September 19, subject to border restrictions.
AFC Liverpool play their home games at Rossett Park in Crosby, which is also home to Marine FC where Manxman Niall Cummins currently plies his trade.
Should the Ravens progress in their first ever Vase campaign, they will play Manchester-based Maine Road in the next round.
