Douglas & District FC reached their first senior cup final on Sunday when the club’s over-35 side defeated Marown 3-1 in the Masters’ FA Cup semi-final.
Konrad Kumor gave the Noble’s Park outfit a first-half lead at the Bowl, but Gary Christian equalised for the Crosby outfit after the interval. In the closing stages, Kumor restored D&D’s lead, before first-team manager Richard Delaney netted a third on the stroke of full-time.
In the other Masters semi, Colby secured a 1-0 win over champions Peel. After a goal-less first half, Chris Kneen scored the game’s only goal six minutes from the final whistle.
