It’s still not clear who will be promoted to the Canada Life Premier League after another intriguing night of results in JCK Division Two.

Pulrose appeared to have one foot in the top-flight as they raced into a two-goal lead against Foxdale thanks to first-half strikes from player-manager Ste Priestnal and brother Marc.

However, Dale hit back in the second 45 through a Liam Cannan penalty and Kevin Pulman to take a share of the spoils.

The draw leaves Pully second in the standings, a point behind already finished RYCOB. The South Douglas side bring the curtain down on their league campaign against another one of the promotion hopefuls, Malew, on Saturday. Three points in that would see United up and end the southerners promotion bid.

The draw ends Foxdale’s promotion hopes, but Dale remain firmly in the mix for a Paul Henry Gold Cup spot with three games to play.

Ramsey could yet overhaul neighbours RYCOB for the division’s other promotion spot.

The Ballacloan outfit beat Ayre United 6-2 on Wednesday to move within four points of Youthie with two left to play.

Four points from the Blues final two matches against Malew and Foxdale would secure them a return to the top-flight next season.

The destination of this season’s Nedbank Women’s League title will be decided in a special play-off on Sunday.

Douglas Royal will face Peel after the former beat Laxey 8-2 to draw level with the westerners at the top of the standings.
