Rushen United manager Paul Jones is the new man in charge of the Isle of Man FA’s senior men’s side.
Jones’s appointment has been rumoured all week, but was officially annouced by the FA on Saturday afternoon.
A statement released by the FA said: ’The Isle of Man Football Association are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Jones as the senior men’s representative team manager with immediate effect.
’We are all pleased to have made this appointment bearing in mind the forthcoming fixtures against Peterborough and District League in the FA Inter-League Cup on October 7 at the Bowl and the Umbro Quadrangular tournament in Glasgow starting on October 11.’
Jones has brought in St George’s assistant Lee Dixon and former IoMFA manager Steve Burns to be part of his backroom staff.
