Foxdale provided the shock of the round in Saturday’s eight Friends Provident International FA Cup ties.
The JCK Division Two outfit edged past Premier League Colby 3-2 at Billy Goat Park thanks to goals from Andrew Berry, Aaron Costain and Jay Chatwood.
Joining Dale in the last eight are fellow Division Two sides Douglas and District and Braddan.
Daniel Stewart-Clague’s goal gave D and D a 1-0 win over RYCOB, while the Swans beat Pulrose 5-4 in nine-goal thriller at Springfield Road.
Also into the quarter-finals are holders Peel who beat Ramsey 6-1 at Ballacloan.
On target for last year’s winners were ex-Ramsey striker Ashley Webster, skipper Daniel Bell, Dominic McGreevy and youngster Billy Kennaugh who grabbed a hat-trick.
Rushen and St Mary’s came through the round’s other all top-flight affairs. The Spaniards beat Corinthians 2-0 thanks to goals from Jamie Johnston and Matty Lamb, while the Saints triumphed 4-0 over DHSOB in a game that was switched to the Bowl. Ste Priestnal bagged a hat-trick in that one joining skipper Alex Harrison on the scoresheet for the beaten Railway Cup finalists.
Fresh from landing their seventh Premier League title in a row, St George’s continued their good week with a 10-2 mauling of second-tier Marown.Douglas Athletic are also into the quarter-finals after they overcame a stubborn Governor's Athletic 2-1 at Springfield Road. Targetman Martin Cowan and an own goal made up the Pinks' tally.In the day's sole Canada Life Premier League game, Union Mills remain in the division's bottom two, eight points from safety after they lost 2-1 at St John's.In JCK Division Two, Douglas Royal stretched their lead at the top of the standings to seven points with a 3-1 win over Castletown.Town are two points ahead of Onchan in second after the Os beat Gymns 3-0.In the division's other game, bottom side Michael picked up their second point of the season after they drew 2-2 with second-bottom Malew.
