Former Peel boss Rick Holden has been named as St John’s United’s new manager for next season.
The ex-Oldham Athletic and Manchester City winger, who is currently Nick Hurt’s Isle of Man FA assistant, will take over the first-team reins from Robbie Prescott.
A statement from the Mullen-e-Cloie club read: ’St John’s United Football Club is pleased to announce that a new management team will be in place next season.
’Former Oldham Athletic duo Rick Holden and Jon Hallworth will be joining St John’s as manager and coach respectively bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience as the club looks to move to the next level and challenge at the top of the Canada Life Premier League.’
