Manx footballer Sean Jackson was recently called up to train with England Amputee Football Association’s senior squad.

The Ballakermeen High School student has spent the last few months on the Talent ID Programme for EAFA, training once a month with the elite junior England players.

He was recently given the opportunity to train with the senior squad which comprised of two training in Crewe with the squad who are preparing for October’s European Cup.

It was a very good weekend that gave him an insight to where he needs to be to get in the squad and head coach Owen Coyle Jr was pleased with his progression and attitude at training.

Sean is now part of the Isle of Man Sports Institute and is receiving expert help and guidance from the team around this setup which can only help his progression.
