A triple hat-trick from Foxdale striker Jay Chatwood in last week’s 18-0 win over Governor’s Athletic has fired him to the top of the Silver Boot standings.

Chatwood’s nine-goal haul means the former Michael man has netted 30 goals in JCK Division Two so far this campaign.

This puts him six goals ahead of Union Mills’s Luke Booth and Castletown talisman Alex Crawley, the pair having plundered 24 goals apiece so far this term.

A further goal back on 23 is early pacesetter Stephen Glover with Douglas and District’s Daniel Stewart-Clague the only other man to hit 20-plus league goals so far.

l In the Canada Life Premier League, old adversaries Ciaran McNulty and Steven Priestnal continue to battle it out for the Golden Boot.

McNulty currently heads the top-flight scoring charts with 30 goals to his name.

Priestnal has 27, four more goals than in-form Rushen United forward Josh Kelly.

McNulty’s St George’s team-mate Furo Davies completes the top four with 21 goals.
