There’s a potentially pivotal round of fixtures in the race for promotion from JCK Division Two this evening, Tuesday.

All of the leading sides are in action, with several going head-to-head against each other.

A win for leaders RYCOB against Ayre United at Scoill Ree Gorree would all but seal their place in the Premier League next season, but the Tangerines are one of the form teams at present and therefore could push their northern rivals hard.

Second-placed Pulrose United face a tough trip to in-form Colby at the Station Fields. Buoyed by lifting the Woods Cup (see left), Pully will go into the match as favourites but the Moonlighters could well cause them a few problems.

An intriguingly close game could be on the cards at Clagh Vane where third-placed Malew host fifth-placed Foxdale in a game which will go a long way to deciding who gets into the end-of-season Gold Cup.

The final game sees promotion hopefuls Ramsey travel to face Onchan at a venue to be confirmed.
