There’s no doubting the game of the day in JCK Division Two this weekend when title hopefuls Pulrose United and Foxdale lock horns at Springfield Road.

This Saturday’s game should be a close contest which may well end in a draw, although with Ste and Marc Priestnal plus Stephen Glover leading the line for Pully, the home side will just about start as favourites.

Another good game could be on the cards at Clagh Vane Malew host RYCOB. Malew won both of their opening games to top the table and are being tipped to challenge for honours, so they start as favourites against Youthie.

Ramsey will be desperate to atone for last weekend’s defeat at the hands of Foxdale and will certainly be favourites to do so against Douglas and District. However, as ever D&D are unpredictable and are always capable of causing a shock or two on their day so the northerners will need to be wary against complacency.

Ayre United have started the season promisingly and could well upset a few teams, including Union Mills who they go up against this weekend. The Millers lost out to Youthie on the opening day but bounced back in style to thrash D&D so they’ll be eager to build on that win.

Another team tipped to challenge for silverware this season is Onchan who thrashed Michael United last weekend and they will be confident of a similar result against Gymns.

The final game this weekend sees bottom two go head-to-head when Michael United host Colby at Balleira Road.
