After a week off to focus on the GH Corlett Woods Cup, attention returns to JCK Division Two this Saturday with a full gamut of fixtures.
Another intriguing game could unfold at the Station Fields where resurgent Colby welcome promotion chasers Foxdale. With 18 points and seven league places between them in the visitors’ favour, this should result in a Foxdale win, but an influx of former players such as Carl Hickey and Ashley Blake have galvanised the Moonlighters and they should not be taken lightly.
Local bragging rights will be at stake at Ballacloan Stadium where Ramsey play host to northern rivals Ayre United in what could be a tasty clash. The home side currently occupy the second promotion spot behind Pully and will be odds on to continue their form this weekend, but the Tangerines have recruited well of late and could spring a surprise here.
Just down the west coast, third-placed Youthie will be hoping to bounce back from that aforementioned defeat to Mills when they travel to lowly Michael United, while Malew will be sure-fire favourites to see off the challenge of Governor’s Athletic.
The final game could also be a close one, with Onchan hosting a Douglas and District side which only just lost to Pully last time out.
