The Isle of Man FA’s County Youth Cup tie means there’s a reduced top-flight programme of only four games on Saturday afternoon.

Three of the weekend’s Canada Life Premier League games are as scheduled, while one is a rearranged game that was postponed in the first-half of the season.

That match between Rushen United and DHSOB at Croit Lowey could yet have bearing on who qualifies for the Railway Cup semi-finals with both in the mix.

Despite the weather playing havoc with their fixtures in recent weeks, Old Boys currently sit second in the division’s current form table with four wins and two draws from their last six.

Rushen, on the other hand, have lost to St John’s and Peel in recent weeks and were pushed hard by St Mary’s on Saturday. Expect a draw in this one.

Player-manager Alex Harrison has steadied the ship at St Mary’s and the Saints hosr near neighbours Douglas Athletic at the Bowl on Saturday in an earlier than usual kick-off of 1.30pm.

The last time these pair met the Pinks scored a shock 6-0 win. This one will be a much tighter affair with the Saints maybe just edging it.

Peel can go it alone at the top of the standings on Saturday if, as expected, they beat Colby at the Station Fields.

A straightforward win also looks on the cards for St George’s who make the very short trip to Victoria Road and Braddan. The Swans haven’t won since September, a run that has plunged them into the bottom two.
