There’s a southern derby on the cards in JCK Division Two this weekend when Colby host Malew at the Station Fields on Saturday.

On paper the visitors will certainly start the match as favourites, as the Clagh Vane outfit sit six places higher and no fewer than 15 points better off than the Moonlighters. After a summer of change at Colby, which featured a player exodus and a new manager amongst other things, it’s been a difficult start to the season for the Station Fields side.

But the Moonlighters have shown signs of life in recent weeks and go into this match on the back of a win and a draw, therefore they will be hoping to continue that upward momentum.

Having seen their unbeaten start to the campaign ended by Pulrose United last time out, Malew will be desperate to bounce back and should do so this weekend.

Leaders RYCOB’s game with Gymns is off with the pitch at Scooil Ree Gorree the first to succumb to water-logging.

The final game sees second-place Pulrose United travel northwest to face Michael United in what should result in an away win.
