Isle of Man Referees’ Society held its annual awards presentation at the Douglas Golf Club the weekend before last.
The society would like to extend a special thanks to Adrian Higgins of Specsavers for his continued sponsorship and to guest speaker Paul Hodskinson, currently operating as an assistant referee in the EFL Championship.
Stuart Kneen picked up the top award, the Specsavers Level 4 Referee of the Year, and received the trophy from Higgins.
Stalwart official Tommy Crowe was announced as the recipient of the prestigious Doug Jones Trophy for services to the society throughout the 2020-21 season.
Stu Morris, Dave Kelly, Stephen Hall, Jack Maylin, Rod Jones, Nathan Cooil and Aidan Sapsford also picked up awards during the evening.
