The fixture’s computer has thrown up an intriguing set of games in JCK Division Two this weekend.
The standout contest is arguably at Scoill ree Gorree where league leaders entertain a resurgent Castletown in a potential promotion showdown.
Both sides were tipped to challenge for honours this season and remain on course to do so, but have endured contrasting fortunes in recent weeks.
Town suffered a surprise defeat to Governor’s Athletic and then lost to rivals Foxdale and Pulrose but have since bounced back with wins over Onchan and Michael United.
Youthie, meanwhile, had looked like running away with the title but lost to Marown last time out to blow the race open again.
The northerners have home advantage but this one really could go either way.
Second-placed Pully face a tough trip to fourth-placed Onchan who emphatically thumped promotion hopefuls Foxdale 5-1 last time out. Paul Guiver’s Pully are also in confident mood following a 7-0 thrashing of Ayre Utd so expect goals in this one.
Michael United will be hoping to make life difficult again for Foxdale who visit Balleira Road, as will Douglas and District who host in-form Marown at Noble’s Park.
Another close game could be in store at Garey Mooar where Union Mills welcome Malew while bottom side Gymns could claim their first points of the season when they host the side one place above them in the table, Governor’s Athletic.
