Weather permitting, round two of the Callin/Wild-sponsored Manx Fell Running league takes place this Saturday.
The Glen Mona Race starts and finishes alongside the Glen Mona Hotel and will cover a 13km course that includes 650 metres of ascent.
There will be an early start for the slower runners at 1pm, with the late start at 1.30pm. Registration will be held in the Glen Mona Hotel, with the early runners signing on from midday until 12.45pm and the late from 12.45 until 1.15pm.
Full safety gear is mandatory, with random checks at the start and finish. Minimum age is 18 years on race day.
Car parking will be available opposite the hotel and at the nearby Dhoon School. Manx Fell Runners will be providing post-race food at the hotel.
With a poor day forecast, a lot will depend on visibility on the higher stretches of the course, as the Mountain Ultra was canned early last October over similar terrain.
