Mark Cavendish sealed a hat-trick of wins at this year’s Tour of Turkey on Wednesday afternoon.

Having clinched his first stage victory in more than three years on Monday’s second stage, the Manx Missile backed it up with another fine success in Tuesday’s stage to make it back-to-back wins for the first time since 2015.

Cav then went even better on Wednesday by sprinting to victory once again to complete a quickfire hat-trick and maintain his position as leader in both the points and general classifications at the Turkish race.
