Manx Hockey Association’s final Team of the Week for the 2025-26 league season comprises the following players.
GOALKEEPER
Harry Woods (Vikings A) - for his strong play throughout the match and making some crucial saves as Harlequins applied the pressure.
DEFENCE
Morgan Braidwood (Vikings B) - produced a solid performance at the back, making several important tackles throughout the game and distributed the ball well to her midfielders.
Sophie Phythian (Castletown C) - delivered a strong defensive performance and her good distribution created attacking phases to get the ball forward to her team-mates.
Adam Braidwood (Vikings C) - made numerous interceptions and tackles to stop promising Bacchas Colts attacks, along with some goal-line clearances.
Charlie Valerga (Castletown C) - maintained his position well and made a number of telling tackles, while distributing the ball decisively to team-mates.
MIDFIELD
Oliver Brew (Ramsey A) - was strong in the middle of the pitch, making some key tackles and interceptions. Had a high work rate and drove the team forward back on the attack.
Eve Martin (Valkyrs C) - enjoyed a superb debut playing alongside her big sister in midfield, creating a force to be reckoned with. Such skill and pace, another upcoming star for Valkyrs.
Emma Whiting (Bacchas B) - for her tireless running up front. She was a constant threat with great linking, positional play which was rewarded with two goals.
Evie Watterson (Castletown A) - was brilliant in the middle as always, setting up a number of goals and was unlucky not to get one herself. She’s been impressive all season and is such an important player for her team.
ATTACK
Ross Grimley (Bacchas Colts) - used his pace and skill throughout the game to secure an outstanding hat-trick, beginning with a diving finish at the far post. Produced incredible work rate and commitment for the team.
Caleb Blakemore (Harlequins A) - has been improving every week and instigated several opportunities going forward with his creative play.
