The Isle of Man go into Wednesday’s busy Island Games schedule in Gibraltar top of the medal table.
The swimming team have started the competition in great form coming away from the pool with seven gold, two silver and a bronze so far.
Lee Holland’s squad will be hoping for more of the same today with the majority of the team in action.
There should hopefully also be some more Manx medals on the adjacent track at the Lathbury Sports Complex with the finals of the high jump, long jump and men’s 5,000m taking place. Triathlon silver medalist Will Draper lines up alongside Stephen Garrett in the latter.
Elsewhere, the Isle of Man’s men’s basketball team take on Saaremaa for a place in the competition’s semi-finals at 5.30pm BST.
On Tuesday Paul Ellison’s squad beat Isle of Wight 60-53 to secure their place in the last eight. Paul Kilic shone for the Manx as they triumphed over a side that had beaten them in Gotland two years ago.
Today is judo’s men’s and women’s open events, with Connor Craig and Chris Horton selected to compete in the men’s and Breeshey Cain making her Island Games debut in the women’s.
The badminton doubles continues with Kim Clague teaming up with Nicola Wilkinson as the former goes for a fourth Games gold in the event.
On the water the island’s sailors - Matthew Perry, Simon Pressly, Donald Edwards and Phil Hardisty - continue their respective campaigns in the radial and standard laser classes.
Clay shooter James Bradley currently lies sixth in the Olympic Skeet individual competition which concludes today, while Alan Wade and Mark Riley start their individual ABT competition having snared team gold earlier in the week.
Pistol shooters Nathan and Josh Holden are in the 25m men’s final, while rifle shooter Tracey Skelton shoots in the 50m, Three-Position Smallbore Rifle.
Squash and tennis’ doubles competition also continue, while the island’s table tennis players begin their singles campaigns.
The Isle of Man’s 10-pin bowlers also start their team event at the Kings Bastion Leisure Centre this morning.
