The Isle of Man swimming team capped what has been a medal-laden week at the Lathbury Sports Complex pool with five more golds on Thursday evening.
Alex Bregazzi kicked off the Manx team’s last-day gold rush when he completed a middle-distance freestyle double in the 400m.
His time of 3:52.90 is a new Isle of Man record and the fastest time since Pal Joensen set the Games record of 3:45.87 10 years ago.
Bregazzi’s fellow Manxie swam a new personal best as he finished seventh.
Joel Watterson picked up his maiden individual gold of the week as he took victory in the men’s 50m freestyle ahead of Guernsey’s Jonathan Beck and Cayman’s Jordan Crooks.
The Isle of Man have dominated the relays all week and notched another three wins to sign off from the 2019 Games in style.
The men’s team of Bregazzi, Ben Kebbell, Watterson and Euan MacMurchie won the 4x100 freestyle in a new Manx record of 3:24.38.
Not to be outdone, the women’s 4x100 medley team of Emma Hodgson, Laura Kinley, Olivia Marshall and Kiera Prentice pipped Guernsey to gold in their race.
Bregazzi, Kinley, Watterson and Marshall brought an impressive end to proceedings as they broke the Games’ 4x50 mixed freestyle relay record, stopping the clock in 1:37.74.
