John McGuinness has said this week’s spate of weather-enforced postponements is the worst he’s known at the TT.

In his video diary for Bennetts Bike Insurance on Friday evening, the 23-time winner said: ’I’ve never known it as bad as this. I’ve done a lot of TTs over the years and we’ve had a few odd days cabined up, but this keeps going on and on and on. It doesn’t actually look that great for the next few days either, but we’ve just got to deal with it and take it on the chin. The bikes are ready to go and we’re ready to go. The big man above, or whatever you want to call him, has just got to play ball now. ’

Looking ahead, the Morecambe Missile added: ’It will happen. We may have to drop a race or something, but I’m sure it will come good in the end.’With only two qualifying sessions escaping the week's poor weather, TT organisers have already moved Saturday's scheduled race programme back to Sunday afternoon. A full day of qualifying sessions for all classes is now planned instead for tomorrow.
