The Isle of Man Cross-Country League begins on Sunday, October 13 at Castle Rushen High School.

The Law Trust-sponsored league has proved very popular recently and last year’s had a record overall attendance at the four races.

There will be two registration nights Wednesday and Friday, October 9/11 at Manx Harriers clubhouse, NSC perimeter road, from 6-8pm.

Maps and race timetable for the first event will be published on the IoM Athletics Association website. At each round, signing-on will be between 1pm and the start of the first race at 2pm, but runners are encouraged to sign up in advance and enter all four races at a reduced rate of £18 for seniors (attached) or £10 juniors.

The other events take place at Ramsey on November 3, the Nunnery on December 1 and Peel on January 19 (doubling up as the IoM Cross Country Championships.
