The forecast bad weather on Friday has forced Manx Grand Prix organisers to bring forward the day’s scheduled races to Thursday.
A statement released by organisers on Wednesday morning said: ’Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson has confirmed that Friday’s Manx Grand Prix race programme is being brought forward to Thursday, anticipating the bad weather that is forecast for Friday.’
Roads will close around the course on Thursday at 11.30am with the MGP Lightweight and Ultra-Lightweight race at 12pm.
The four-lap Senior MGP will wrap up the week’s action at 2.30pm.
Thursday’s propsed schedule:
11.30am Roads close
12pm Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club Lightweight/Ultra Lightweight Race (three laps)
2.30pm Senior Manx Grand Prix Race (four laps)
4.50pm: Roads open
