After 20 years of competing at the Manx Grand Prix, Guildford’s Tom Snow picked up his maiden win on Thursday afternoon.
The 40-year-old claimed a comfortable win in the three-lap Ultra-Lightweight race bringing home his Moto 3 Honda 44.220 seconds ahead of Radley Hughes.
Hughes was only a couple of seconds ahead of Lancelot Unissart at the finish, the wonderfully named Frenchman’s chances of an Ultra-Lightweight double being hit by a 30-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane during the mandatory pit stops at the end of lap two.
Alex Sinclair was in turn only three seconds behind race one winner Unissart with Lloyd Collins fifth and Austrian Sabastian Witt sixth.
Chairman of Ramsey commissioners Andrew Cowie matched his result from race one in 11th.
