Monday evening’s scheduled qualifying session at the Isle of Man TT has been cancelled as a result of poor weather conditions.

Clerk of the course Gary Thompson has advised there is thick mist from Guthrie’s to Kate’s Cottage as well as heavy rain on the Mountain section with no chance of the course drying in time.

Instead Tuesday’s session will now run as follows:

6.20pm - Speed controlled session solo newcomers

6.25pm - Speed controlled session sidecar newcomers

6.35pm - Superbike/Superstock/Supersport/Newcomers (all classes excluding Lightweight)

7.20-8.50pm - Supersport/Lightweight Newcomers (all solo classes) qualifying

7.55-8.50pm - Sidecars
