Beau Brown secured the MX2 title in the Plews Tyres British Amateur Masters Motocross Championship at Culham in Oxfordshire last weekend.

The Yamaha 250cc two-stroke’s seat came off in R1 so he nursed it home to ninth, followed by a fourth, fifth and another ninth.

This adds to the 125cc title the 20-year-old joiner won in 2023 and the MX Youth championship he collected 12 months later in 2024.

Current Isle of Man Centre Motocross champion Liam Smith finished seventh overall in this year’s Masters MX1 championship on his 450 Honda.

Ryan Christian was lying second overall in the Open class, only to injure his knee on Saturday. This meant that he was unable to race on Sunday so he ended up eighth in the final standings.

Jacob Wilson was 10th overall in his first year in the Youth 2 class on his 250F Honda, despite missing one of the six rounds. He thanks all his sponsors for their support throughout the year.
