Manx Mountain Bike Club is organising five cross-country races on Sunday mornings at Noble’s Park, centred on the TT Grandstand.

The events will collectively be known as the Winter League and, if well attended, could become an annual fixture.

The dates are: Sundays January 28, February 4, 11, 25, and March 4.

Any type of bike can be used from full cyclocross to mountain bike.

l The annual general meeting of the Fellowship of Manx Veteran Cyclists will take place on Monday, January 29 at 68 Cronk Coar, Tromode Park, Douglas, starting 7.30pm.

All members are encouraged to attend.
