A late flurry of entries on Wednesday evening ensure that this Sunday’s Nick Corkill Memorial Road Race will take place this Sunday, over the Bride course, organised by Ellan Vannin CC.

There are 21 riders for the A race and 13 for the B.

Marshals are required for the event, please contact Ian Brand or turn up early on the morning at signing on (Ayre United Football Club) between 8 and 8.30am.

The A race will be over six laps, the B event four, starting at 9am and 9.25am respectively.

l Round four of the Bikestyle series is on Thursday, June 14.

The Nelson Memorial Mountain Time Trial is on June 24.

l Entries for the Conister Bank-sponsored Longest Day, Longest Ride are now closed.

The event, which this year has British solo championship status for a 24-hour event, takes place on Saturday/Sunday, June 16-17 at Conrhenny Plantation on the Creg-ny-Baa back road.
