Nominations for the 2021 edition of the Isle of Man Sports Awards have now opened ahead of the ceremony taking place in March.
The annual event - which celebrates the achievements of the island’s leading athletes, coaches and teams - will take place at Royal Hall, Villa Marina on Thursday, March 31.
Nominations for the 12 categories, including sportsman and sportswoman of the year, have now opened, with people encouraged to put forward names and details of their achievements by Sunday, January 30.
This year, the under-21 men’s and women’s categories will revert back to individual awards, having been combined for 2020.
The Leonie Cooil Courage and Inspiration Award will celebrate an individual or individuals who have demonstrated resilience and courage to others within Manx sport.
To nominate, post the completed form (which can be found in this week’s Manx Independent) to Isle of Man Sport Office, National Sports Centre, Groves Road, Douglas, IM1 2RB.
