Former New Zealand, Northampton and Wasps star Mark ’Sharky’ Robinson will be on the island this weekend.
The ex All Black will be holding a Q&A session plus giving analysis on three of the opening matches at this year’s Rugby World Cup which begins in Japan today, Friday.
Saturday’s games between Australia v Fiji (5.45am kickoff), France v Argentina (8.15am) and New Zealand v South Africa (10.45am) will all be shown live at the Comis Mount Murray Hotel on a 16-foot wide, floor-to-ceiling TV. Train Smokers of Castletown will also be on hand to provide Braai (barbecue) food.
The event is being held to raise money for the Diana Princess of Wales Hospice Care at Home Trust. Tables of 10 cost £500, while single tickets are £50, with accompanied under-18s costing £15, while the Braai is £30.
