Douglas Celts secured the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy on Saturday with a 49-17 win over Southern Nomads.
Two early tries from Seth Waterworth together with a penalty and conversion from Will Cain saw Douglas 17-0 within 20 minutes.
Charlie Henthorn added a third try for Douglas just before half-time and Cain’s conversion gave them a 24-0 lead.
Despite losing Owen Carvin to the sin bin early in the second half, Douglas forged further ahead with a Cain penalty and a Dan Creer try.
Rob Keelan and Andy Lean then hit back for Nomads and when Mark Young converted they trailed by 20 points with quarter of an hour to play.
The comeback, however, was halted abruptly and late tries from Henthorn, Charlie Yau and Harrison Kirk made the game safe for Douglas.
Vagas’ Cam Inglis scored all of his side’s points as they beat Western Vikings 19-11 to win the Manx Bowl.
Two Harry Dawson penalties saw Vikings 6-0 in front as half-time approached.
Inglis though grabbed his first try in stoppage time at the end of the half and his conversion put Vagas 7-6 ahead at the break.
In the second half he ran in two further tries and one conversion to put the lead up to 13 points. Alex Gibson barged over to get Vikings back into the game but it wasn’t quite enough.
