PDMS Southern Nomads travel to the Mooragh Park this week looking to hit top of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy table if they can beat Ramsey B.
Nomads were in great form last weekend with a comprehensive win against Douglas Celts who have a free week this week.
As Douglas beat Ramsey B a fortnight ago, on paper they should ease past Ramsey who aren’t quite as strong as they were this time last year.
There are two games in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Bowl too. At King William’s College there’s a southern derby as Emerging Nomads host Castletown.
Town have yet to play in this competition but looked fairly handy in the pre-season 10s and could give Nomads a run for their money.
In the other game Vagabonds B travel to Western Vikings who have all the appearances of being competition favourites.
Vagas are struggling for players, however, and had to concede last week’s game against Castletown so expect a Vikings win here.
