A late try from Ross Pulman gave Vagabonds a 26-20 win over Ruskin Park at Ballafletcher on Saturday.

Ross McCulloch’s early try, converted by Cam Findlay, gave Vagas a flying start in the Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three game.

Luke Shaw pulled one back for Ruskin which left Vagas 7-5 in front at the break.

Ian Ashton’s try put Ruskin Park ahead in the second half and Tom Lee’s conversion made it 12-7.

Rob Pease equalised for Vagas before Tom Lee’s try put Ruskin back in front.

Lee then added a penalty to put Ruskin 20-12 ahead with 10 minutes to play.

Cam Inglis’s try six minutes from time was converted by Cam Findlay to leave Vagas trailing by a point before Pulman snatched the winner.
