Sure-sponsored Vagabonds Ladies show their commitment to grass roots rugby this Saturday when they travel to visit Preston Grasshoppers in what is the only domestic fixture being played on World Cup final day.
This is always an enjoyable fixture for both sides and are often close affairs.
Vagabonds have improved with each performance so far this season in NC1 North West and were disappointed to have last weekend’s game against Burnley postponed because of poor weather.
Once again there will be positional changes for Vagabonds on Saturday and this will be a test of the strength and depth of the Ballafletcher outfit.
Captain Corrina Daly is confident that the determined resolve of this squad will bring a good performance despite the stop-start nature of this season so far and they can bring home the needed boost of a win on the road.
Vagabonds’ clubhouse is open from 7.45am with bar and food available for those wanting a traditional rugby club atmosphere to watch the Rugby World Cup final - all welcome.
