Former Sidecar TT podium finisher Artie Oates died on Tuesday afternoon at the age of 80.
He had been ill for some while.
Artie and his brother Edda won the Isle of Man Centre ACU championship title five times in the first 11 years of the series and were the first local crew to lap the Mountain Course in excess of 100mph.
