The first round of the summer promenade run series takes place on Saturday morning in Port St Mary.

Races start at 9am and entries can be made online up until this evening (Thursday) at manxtimingsolutions.com

Senior entries cost £5 for affiliated runners and £7 for those without a club. Round will take place in Castletown on September 1.

l Isle of Man Veteran Athletes’ Club’s annual mile has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 5.

It is free to club members and £3 to non-members aged 35 and over.

The race is four laps round the synthetic athletics track.

Register on the day from 6.30pm, next to the pavilion. The start will be at 7.15pm.

Awards for the top three men and women will be presented, along with a perpetual trophy to the first IoM Vets Club member.
