The second annual Summit to Sea race organised by Manx MTB Enduro takes place this Sunday.
Signing on will be from 9.30am at the Bungalow, with the opening test from the summit of Snaefell back down to the Bungalow at approximately 10am.
This in particular is weather dependent as it will not run in severely reduced visibility.
Special test two is from Mullagh Ouyr over the tops to Windy Corner, with test three Slieuu Lhost to Glen Roy Mines.
There will again be two tests in Axnfell Plantation, with a final timed run on private land in Laxey village between the Queen’s Hotel and the Shore Hotel.
Sponsored by J. R. Hinchcliffe Plumbing, the bulk of the pre-event organisation and tests has been carried out by Ian Lamberton.
The event has a full-house of 102 entries.
l Manx Mountain Bike Club’s summer XC series continues on Monday at Archallagan Plantation.
Sign on is at the corner car park, 6.15 for a 7pm start.
