Four members of Utmost Isle of Man Swimming Club have been selected onto the Swim England Regional Pathway Programme.

Olivia Marshall, Euan MacMurchie, Steph Brew and Laura Kinley were selected to join the region’s top performing athletes after their displays impressed selectors last season.

The programme, which is hosted at the Manchester Aquatic Centre, provides long-course (50m pool) experience as well as support programmes led by sports science and strength and conditioning specialists of the highest regard in the sport.

Island head coach Lee Holland is delighted to have this many athletes on the programme, the biggest number to date: ’This is another example of the recognition Isle of Man swimmers are receiving from our peers and selection panels in the UK. With Charlotte Atkinson also being selected for GB world Class Programmes, the island swimmers are getting more coverage than ever before.’
