James Cowton scored a win and two seconds at the Radcliffe’s Butchers Post-TT meeting at Billown on Saturday.
In beautiful conditions, the Yorkshireman won the open capacity race at record-breaking pace on the McAdoo Kawasaki from the BMWs of Rob Hodson and local man Ryan Kneen.
The latter rider received a huge reception, little more than a week after the tragic death of his elder brother Dan during qualifying for the TT.
Adam McClean led home a McAdoo one-two in the 600cc race from Cowton and rising star Joey Thompson. Jamie Coward was third, after being squeezed out of contention early on.
Young Thompson won the 650cc twin race on the Paton by 0.239 of a second from Cowton, with Jonathan Perry third.
Cowton set new lap records in all three races.
