It’s the second race day of TT 2018.

After Saturday’s record-breaking opening day, the Supersport and Superstock machines take centre-stage today.

Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson, MBE, has confirmed that conditions are good all round the TT Course so today’s schedule is as below:

9.15am Barrule Park, Ramsey to Bungalow road closed

9.30am Bungalow to Creg Ny Baa road closed

10am All of TT course closed

10.45am MONSTER ENERGY SUPERSPORT RACE ONE (four laps)

12.30pm Locate.im Sidecar Qualifying (2 laps)

2.15pm RL360 SUPERSTOCK RACE (four laps)

4.05pm Bennetts Lightweight qualifying

4.20pm SES TT Zero qualifying

4.45pm Roads open except mountain section (Barrule Park to Creg Ny Baa)

5.45pm All roads open around the course--------------10.50am Supersport Race One is go after a five-minute delayAs expected, Michael Dunlop and Dean Harrison setting the early pace in the Supersport #IoMTT.Dunlop leads by 1.740s from Harrison at end of lap one.Peter Hickman slots into third on the Triumph.- New Supersport lap record for Michael Dunlop! Northern Irishman clocks 129.197mph (17:31.328) on his second lap.Four seconds in the old record he set in 2013!- Dunlop leads by 6.4s going into fuel stop at end of lap two.Harrison second, 22.784 ahead of Peter Hickman.Hillier, Lee Johnston and Conor Cummins complete top six.- Dunlop continues to lead at end of lap three. (More below).--------------- 2.15pm Four-lap Superstock TT gets under way on time.- The fast laps keep coming at #iomtt2018.Dean Harrison a whisker under #Superstock lap record, clocking 133.073mph on his opening lap.This gives him a lead of 4.3s over rival Michael Dunlop.After a slow start, Peter Hickman is up to third.- Incredible lap from Peter Hickman sees him smash the Superstock lap record with a time of 134.077mph (16:53.059).As a result he's leapfrogged Harrison and Dunlop to the top of the leaderboard as they pit at the end of lap two.Only 3s covers the top three.What a race!- Incredible #SuperstockTT continues to unfold.There's nothing to split the top three as they head into the final lap.Hickman leads by 0.537s from Dunlop, with Harrison 4.882s behind in third.- Peter Hickman wins a sensational #SuperstockTT to claim his maiden victory round the Mountain Course.Hicky breaks stock record for a 2nd time in 4 laps with a final lap of 134.403mph (16m 50.601s)His winning margin was 4.452s from Michael Dunlop.Harrison third.- Race report below.
