The second two-day race meeting of the season takes place at Jurby Motordrome this weekend, hosted by Andreas Racing Association.

Entries are not particularly high, but the line-up for the main solo races does include Ryan and Jamie Cringle, Ozzy Madey, Marc Colvin and Frankie Stennett.

Practice is scheduled to start at 10am for racing by midday, but in reality the programme tends to run slightly later.

l The latest round of the Youth Trials Club’s summer series takes place this Friday evening at Cornelly Mines. Sign on at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Youths only.

l Round four of Manx Trials Club’s Azzy Paints Championship starts at Axnfell Plantation, near Laxey on Sunday.

Signing on is at 9.30am for a 10am start. The route is a relatively short loop but will include use of public highways, therefore children and youth riders will not be eligible to enter.

There will be the usual hard and easy routes with classes for pre-65, twinshock and air-cooled mono machines, plus a guest class for modern bikes.
