Nigel Crellin and Chris Molyneux (above) scored a double success in both rounds of the British Sidecar Trial Championship at the weekend, but they have no ambitions of contesting any further events in the series.

The were comfortable winners of the Andy Smith Trophy Trial on Saturday, when closest rivals Jon Tuck and Matt Sparkes suffered gearbox problems with their TRS.

It was considerably closer on Sunday in the David Craine Trial when Tuck and Sparkes finished only six marks adrift.

Damian Owen and Gaz Temple won one day of the intermediate class, while locals dominated clubman, with Jack Corlett and Beth Thomas winning round two and William Caine/Tommy Atkins round three.
